What is Tales & Tea all about?
Do you find it overwhelming to choose a book from the endless selections available?
Tales & Tea is here to help! Every month we bring you a fabulous new book, your choice of organic tea or hot chocolate and a block of artisan chocolate. You can even order a one off gift package. Beautifully wrapped with a personal message, the Tales & Tea packages are the perfect gift for all booklovers - young and old!
We have a range of curated picks to delight even the most avid reader, and if you have special requests, just add them in the comments section and we’ll do our very best to accommodate them.
So, treat yourself (or your favourite bookworm) to a day of distraction, relaxation and ‘me’ time.
Why is Tales & Tea so good?
The books are chosen with great care, research and love. You can choose from Fiction, Non-Fiction, Literature, or if you’d like a mixture, you can choose ‘Surprise Me’.
You may even discover some new authors to fall in love with! The best part is that the books are a mystery until they are unwrapped at your place, then the real pleasure of the reading begins!
Where is Tales & Tea based?
Tales & Tea is an Australian company, Emily Jones is the face behind the brand and is located in Sydney.
The books are sourced locally (with both local and international authors). The organic tea is from QLD and VIC. The artisan chocolate is from VIC. The hot chocolate, the optional candle and the calico bag packaging are all from NSW.
All efforts are made to keep the products as local as possible, supporting Australian companies and promoting small businesses.
Subscriptions vs Gift Package
The monthly subscriptions are our most popular option, with extra books able to be added in if you're a supreme book lover!
There are 3 and 6 month subscription options, and these are shipped around the 5th of each month.
The one off packages are shipped as soon as possible after the order is received.
In each package there is a card that shows which package has been ordered (no pricing). This means that the recipient has the option to modify their order if they wish to change any of the components.
What happens if I have already read the book?
Very rarely this happens, but if it does, we offer exchanges for books which you receive from us that you already own.
Please email us at sales@talesandtea.com.au and we can arrange for a replacement book to be sent out. In order for a replacement book to be sent out to you, the book which is being replaced must be posted back to Tales & Tea in an as-new, un-read condition.
Payment & Shipping
Payment is upfront, so there is no need to worry about additional costs and subscriptions do not auto renew. You will receive a reminder when your subscription is about to expire.
There is nothing to pay for shipping! We offer free shipping everywhere in Australia and use Australia Post so we can send to rural and PO Boxes as well.
If you are shipping to NZ, UK or the US, please check the website for applicable rates (it will automatically calculate at checkout).
